A successful global company located in the Tziporit Industrial Zone is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position.
The role includes responsibility for mechanical design and working within a multidisciplinary team, with end-to-end involvement throughout the full product lifecycle — from concept and complex, challenging design through to manufacturing and assembly.
This is a combined design and hands-on role.
The position includes mechanical strength calculations, mechanism design, pneumatics, motors, optomechanical design, thermal and vibration simulations, production drawings, assemblies, and more.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- Approximately 2 years of experience in mechanical design, including complex multidisciplinary mechanical systems and exposure to a variety of technologies such as optical systems, motorized systems, and pneumatics
- Experience leading a module from concept stage through system testing, with a hands-on approach
- Experience in optomechanics — designing optical or electro-optical systems and assemblies such as cameras, lenses, and microscopes
- Mandatory experience working with SolidWorks; experience with PDM is an advantage
- High level of English
